REALTORS® Take It To The Peak!
MAR Annual Convention & Trade Show
October 4-6, 2016 – Sunday River, Newry
“REALTORS Take It To The Peak!”, the 2016 MAR Convention is being held October 4-6 at the Sunday River Resort’s Grand Summit in Newry. Among the reasons to attend: earn up to 15 hours of Maine continuing education credits including national educators Leigh Brown and Rhonda Ivey-Lentini, get the latest industry updates from NAR President Tom Salomone, attend the MAR Annual meeting and trade show, celebrate our local Board REALTORS of the Year, dance to The Larry Williams Band, and network!
The member registration fee for the MAR Convention is $265 (price increases on 9/21). Price includes all education, two lunches, two breakfasts, the banquet, entertainment, exhibits and other convention activities. If you want to attend the convention without the banquet, the price is $245. Until August 16, Grand Summit hotel rooms are available to Maine REALTOR members only, with a full convention registration. After that, Affiliate members and all others are eligible for a Grand Summit hotel room with a paid full convention registration (if not sold out). The Grand Summit room rates range from $119/night – $149/night (plus tax and resort fee). No refunds for convention cancellation, but you may provide a name substitution through September 21. The Grand Summit rooms may sell out the first day registration opens but there are additional hotels at the Sunday River resort. Sponsors and exhibitors can request hotel rooms at Sunday River’s Snow Cap Inn through the Maine Association of REALTORS upon confirmation of participation. To register, go to www.mainerealtors.com.
The Greater Bangor Association of REALTORS has no continuing education classes scheduled during the next couple of months. If you need credits for renewal, or would like to expand your knowledge, there are may courses available in the area. Please be sure to click on the Education Tab to find out more!
